R31 Academy: A Citizen’s Guide to Local Public Schools
Overview
In an effort to build deeper connections and understanding with all stakeholders in our community, the Rolla 31 School District launched a citizen education program beginning in September 2025. This year-long program is designed to engage and inform citizens through presentations, tours, and activities.
Mission
The R31 Academy is a hands-on, interactive public information program that familiarizes and gives participants a true behind-the-scenes view of Rolla Public Schools. The Academy will provide insight into the district's inner workings, promote open lines of communication, and offer opportunities for citizen feedback.
Recruiting
Each year, the academy will enroll up to 40 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. All residents of the district are welcome and encouraged to apply. Applications can be submitted via the form button above or by calling 573-458-0100. Those not admitted will be placed on a waiting list and will receive communication regarding registration for the following school year.
Schedule & Topics
R31 Academy will be held on the second Tuesday of each month during the school year (unless otherwise noted*) from 6-8 pm. Dinner and childcare will be provided.
