School Safety

The Rolla School District continues to take proactive measures to protect the safety of all our students and staff members. The Rolla School District meets regularly with local first responders (police and fire) who help plan our community's response to potential threats.

The school district and all school facilities have incident management plans. The plans have been designed with the help of school security, as well as local law enforcement, emergency management, and public health officials. Emergency plans are regularly reviewed and updated. These plans include procedures to respond to critical incidents, such as fire or tornado, and school crisis teams practice these drills regularly.
