Mandatory Requirements

As of January 1, 2005, all new hires (certificated, support staff, and all substitute positions) must submit to a fingerprint background check through the Missouri Highway Patrol. Employment cannot begin until the District is in receipt of valid written clearance results. For complete information on this mandatory process, please refer to the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's Fingerprinting/Background Check webpage.

Also located on this webpage is a link to Fingerprint Submittal Applicant's Privacy Rights, as all applicants who are the subject of a national fingerprint-based criminal history record check for a noncriminal justice purpose have certain rights.

 

Certificated Positions

Applicants who wish to apply for a certificated position must possess certification for the position in which they are interested.

 

Support Staff Positions

Applicants who want to apply for a support staff position may need to meet specific requirements for education, experience, or professional credentials depending on the type of position in which they are interested.
