MRS. SHERI NORMAN ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT FROM ROLLA PUBLIC SCHOOLS

The Rolla Board of Education accepted, with regret, the retirement of Mrs. Sheri Norman at the December 14, 2023 meeting. Mrs. Norman has worked as an educator for 24 years. She began her career in 2001 at Dixon Elementary School, where she taught grades 3 through 5.  In 2007, Mrs. Norman moved to Wyman Elementary, where she taught fourth grade until 2013. During that time she completed both her Master’s and Ed. Specialist degrees in Educational Administration. Mrs. Norman then assumed the role of Administrative Intern and later Assistant Principal at Rolla Middle School. In 2018, Mrs. Norman was selected as an Assistant Principal at Rolla High School, where she is currently completing her sixth year. 

When asked to reflect on her career, Mrs. Norman said, “I am so grateful for the wonderful people that having this career has put in my path. I have been blessed with amazing students, parents, colleagues, and administrative mentors, from my early days at Dixon through my career at Rolla Public Schools. I am so appreciative of the opportunities and experiences that my time with them has afforded me.”

Mrs. Norman’s retirement will be effective June 30, 2024. She looks forward to spending time on the golf course and traveling with her husband in the coming years.
