This is the image for the news article titled Quarantine Protocol UpdateThis morning Governor Parson announced modifications to state guidelines for Missouri schools during COVID-19. Under the updated guidance, proper mask-wearing may now prevent individuals from being identified as close contacts in schools. Rolla Public Schools administration is currently working alongside the Phelps/Maries County Health Department to determine the best way to implement these new guidelines on our district campuses. These changes would likely apply to instances where students and staff members wear masks when social distancing is not possible.

We will release any changes to our Return to Learn plan as soon as they are finalized. Until then, we are following the procedures outlined in our current plans. All students and staff members currently quarantined should remain so until they receive additional instruction from the district and/or local health officials.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work through these ever-evolving circumstances.
